Rev. Pierre J. Crawford|
Pastor Crawford is a native of Gastonia, NC and the son of the late Robert (Bob) Crawford and Margaret Crawford. He is married to Rosalind Easley Crawford and they have three beautiful daughters, Destiny (11), Charity (6) and Trinity (1).
Pastor Crawford is a graduate of Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, NC. He graduated with honors from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts Studies with two minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice and his Master of Divinity Degree. He received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity and Doctorate of Theology from Henderson Christian University.
He was baptized in December of 1993 and licensed to preach the Gospel in January of 1995. He previously served at Pillar of Truth Missionary Baptist Church , Sembach Air Base in Germany and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowling Springs, SC.
Pastor Crawford was called to be the Senior Pastor at Center Baptist Church in 1999. Currently he serves as Director of Continuing Education at Henderson University. He is also the Chaplain for the Billy Graham Association Rapid Response Team. He has also served as the fourth vice-moderator of the Gaston County Missionary Baptist Association (GCMBA). In July of 2010 he was elected as the Moderator of the GCMBA which includes 27 churches.
